plot twist: the dollar is taped to the inside
I think it’s pathetic that the individual had to explain that it was a random act of kindness.
1. It’s not really random, because who randomly carries around scotch tape and sticky notes.
2. And really, if you have to consciously think about committing random acts of kindness, that’s not really good either.
Kindness should be committed unconsciously.

The Nerdiest Kids: The Hunger Games = Battle Royale? -
Unless you’ve been living under a rock the past several months, you know that the movie based on the novel The Hunger Games is coming out. To be honest, I had never heard of this book until advertisements for the movie started circulating the internets. When it was released, I was a freshman…
Koushun Takami wrote that book in 1999, well before whoever wrote this. Critics have mentioned how eerily similar the plot lines and other elements are. Granted, I know everything ever written is an adaptation of something before it, but this is sorta ridiculous. I just hate how shunned takami and the film version of the novel was in the US, and how praised the hunger games is by everyone.
I’ll be at home QUIETLY watching:
For this exact reason, Battle Royal. This 1999 book about kids on a island that are forced to fight to the death in a contest called the program.
